Name: Felicien Ihirwe
Bio: Felicien is a Ph.D. Student at the University of L’Aquila. He works in Intecs Solutions ITS research lab in Pisa Felicien holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a member of the Lowcomote project (https://www.lowcomote.eu/), an EU-funded project under ITN Marie Curie Slovakia training program aiming to train the next generation of experts that will upgrade the current trend of Low-code Development platforms (LCPDs) to a new paradigm, Low-code Engineering Platforms (LCEPs). This will be achieved by injecting in LCDPs the theoretical and technical framework defined by recent research in Model-Driven Engineering (MDE), Cloud Computing, and Machine Learning techniques. His Ph.D. research focuses on proposing a robust domain-specific language for the design of IoT complex systems such as Smart Cities by employing Low-code concepts.
