Name: Jean-Gabriel Young
Bio: I am a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of The University of Vermont, VT, USA. I also hold an appointment at the Vermont Complex Systems Center. My research is at the intersection of statistical inference, epidemiology, and complex systems.
Previously, I was a James S. McDonnell Foundation Fellow at the Center for the Study of Complex Systems of the University of Michigan, where I was mentored by Prof. Mark Newman. I obtained my PhD in Physics from Université Laval, under the guidance of Prof. Louis J. Dubé and Prof. Patrick Desrosiers.
